Please help me find possible pieces of the
Danish Pagoda of Tranquebar

To day we know around 13 pieces!!

I am working hard on an article about the Gold Pagoda of Tranquebar. And in the same way I try to find all the pieces known as well as unknown around the world in private and public collections.

I also try to find all the different stamps as are used for the minting of the Pagoda and because of that also a photo of the coin in the collection.

One piece was sold at the auction Spink-Taisei, Singapore Coin Auction 20-21.2.1992. If the seller and or the buyer can give me information about the origin of this piece or anyone know the seller and or the buyer and help me with contact to the person it would be very helpfully.

One piece was sold at the auction B. Ahlström, Stockholm 19-20.4.1997. If the seller (as I do not know) can give me information about the origin it would also be very helpfully. Or if other persons do know the  seller and can help me with contact to that person.

On the Jules Fonrobert'schen Sammlung on the february 14, 1879 of Adolph Weyl, was sold two pieces of the pagoda:
No. 2837 weight 2,30 gr. ? (Could perhaps be forgery?)
No. 2838 weight 3,40 gr.
Do anyone know the buyer and from where Jules Fonrobert got the two pieces?.

Do anyone know about the piece in the Government Madras Museum anytime has been showed with a photo in an article or in a catalog? Then I will be pleased if you would let me know.

Or if anyone can help me with other informations about the Danish Pagoda - also where it has been sold through the time 1800 - 1950 and perhaps the seller/buyer - then please contact me, either by e-mail or a letter:

Specially I am in interest to know about the pagoda has been for sale in the time around 1800 - 1830 but any information about sale could be of interest.

In the same way I am looking for photos of the pagoda in for instans old India or other not danish Publications.
